Have you tried contacting Wizards, to see if they can put you in touch with the artist(s) whose MTG work you're interested in?

Only kinda, I have checked many of their DA pages and stuff, and sometimes they have sketch card type stuff.
the post was more about fishing for fanart for the IP not necessary for fanart by the artists involved.
